China Cabinet Christmas Decor

China Cabinet Christmas Decor
If we’re being completely transparent over here, I’ve been waiting all year to decorate this china cabinet for Christmas. If you remember, my grandma gifted me this china cabinet at Christmas last year. It’s been in her home as long as I can remember, and when she moved she no longer had the space for it. Rather than sell it to a stranger, I convinced her to let me transform it and give it new life to keep in my home for years to come. If you missed that amazing transformation, you can see it back on the blog HERE. With how much I love this china cabinet, it’s only fitting that it was the first thing I tackled when I started decorating for Christmas this year.

With us being in a rental, I didn’t shop for anything new when it comes to decor for Christmas this year. So for the china cabinet, I went ahead and took pieces that I already had that I had used in different spots around my house in years past. I love the pops of red against my Rae Dunn pieces. The white ceramic houses with the vintage red trucks are my favorite part of the whole look. I really want to get more to create a whole village look next year. I bought the vintage red trucks from Hobby Lobby. The larger one was actually a candle holder, and I took that part out so I could fill the truck bed. The smaller one is a Christmas ornament that I took the string off of that I had in my DIY Snow Globes that I made out of my glass jars last year.

To finish it off this little corner, I couldn’t help but drape one of my flocked garlands along the top. I think it makes it look so cozy. You can shop my flocked garland, HERE. It’s from Walmart, and it’s under $15! They are a little messy, but all flocked things are in my opinion. I love it so much that I have two of them.
