Lemon Jar Centerpiece for Spring

Citrus Centerpieces for Spring and Summer
Happy Spring, friends! Regardless of whether you’ve been slowly sneaking in Spring touches since January like I have or you’ve waited till this month, now is the perfect time to refresh your home for the new season ahead. Not to mention, with everyone staying home due to the Coronavirus, it really is the perfect time to turn that nervous energy into creativity. (I mean, you’re stuck at home anyways. You might as well make that space you’re stuck in a space you love!)
Today on the blog, I can’t wait to share with you a super cute Spring and Summer centerpiece idea that I put together for my dining room table. The best part of this centerpiece is that I put it together with things that I already had at home! I hope it inspires you to shop your home and put together something fresh and new for the new season ahead.

Lemon Jar Centerpiece
I love incorporating citrus and greenery into my Spring and Summer decor. Not only are they just a natural pairing. But, they also give an instant fresh look and feeling to any space. I really adored the glass jars on my table for winter when I turned them into DIY Snow Globes for Christmas. So, when I was packing away the Christmas decor, I was curious by what else I could use them for. I wanted a cleaner and fresher look for this spring (compared to the wildflower look I went with last Spring.)
Meanwhile, it was when I was cleaning one day that I had the idea to put the lemons and greenery together in the jars. When I clean, I typically diffuse lemon and rosemary (or eucalyptus) to help give my home an extra fresh and clean smell when you walk in. I had a bag of large lemons (fake) left over from a tablescape I did last summer, and I decided to pair it with the leftover faux greenery that I had leftover from my centerpiece last year.

The dough bowl is pretty much a staple on my dining room table. Meanwhile, the light gray runner paired with the white washed wood dough bowl added a bit of fresh and light texture that is perfect for Spring. The lemons and greenery are the perfect combination to create a spring look that is clean and fresh in feeling without having to overwhelm a space in florals.
