Simply Earth November Essential Oil Recipe Box

I’m not going to lie, I get a little bit giddy when I get a shipping confirmation email from Simply Earth in my inbox. I seriously look forward to running to the mailbox like it’s Christmas morning at the end of each month. The days following are filled with giggles as the pups and I sit at the dining room table and make each month’s recipes. I know I say this every month, but I think November’s essential oil recipe box from Simply Earth is my favorite. (The ladies over there just keep out-doing themselves month after month!)

Today on the blog I can’t wait to share with you some of my favorite recipes from November’s recipe box. Not only are they perfect for bath time and your self care routine – but they also make perfect gifts! (hello, holidays!)

About Simply Earth Essential Oils

I have a lot of new friends who started following along recently, so let me take a second to fill y’all in that are new around here and not totally familiar with Simply Earth or their essential oil recipe box. (You can also take a look at any of my past boxes, here!)

Simply Earth is an essential oil company focused on making essential oils easy to use and helping you create a natural home. While they work hard to help you create a natural home, they’re also committed to quality with their Simply Pure Promise to provide you with the highest quality, 100% pure essential oils. Not to mention, without a middleman, they are at least half the price of MLM brands like Young Living. (For example, the oils in this month’s box would have cost you $112 alone from doTerra!)

My 3 Favorite Things About Simply Earth Essential Oils

1 | Commitment to Quality

I really love when a company has a commitment to quality – so I love that I can count on Simply Earth to provide me with all-natural, 100% pure essential oils that I can trust are natural and healthy to use in my home. What’s even better is that Simply Earth is also all about making the use of essential oils easy. I love that Simply Earth tells you about each essential oil on the back of the bottle. They include the part of the plant it came from, the origin, the plant name, and the aroma that the oil has. It is also disclosed if an oil is child safe – and the age in which it is safe to use. (Which my momma friends know is super important!)

2 | Helping the World

Not only do I love when a company has a commitment to quality. But I love a company even more when they are working to do good in this world. What actually sold me on Simply Earth is that they partner with a variety of different organizations to end human trafficking. They do this by sharing 13% of their profits each month to organizations like 5 Stones, Exodus Cry, The Daughter Project, and Grounds of Grace.

3 | Community and Support

Simply Earth even has an amazing Facebook group exclusively for Simply Earth Recipe Box subscribers! In this group, subscribers can ask questions, share their own favorite recipes, and give each other tips and tricks for making the most of their monthly recipe box. As someone who has always tended to stick to the basics when it comes to essential oils (because I don’t know a lot), I love this! I also really love that they also include a card in their recipe box with descriptions of each oil, their properties, different uses, and benefits. It makes me feel so comfortable (and excited!) knowing how to use each oil.

They also recently announced their launch of Simply Earth Institute coming soon! Members will receive free access to courses on using essential oils and making their own natural products. (In addition to the recipes in your recipe box each month!)

Now if that all wasn’t enough to convince you, Simply Earth also has a monthly essential oil subscription box. But this isn’t like the other subscription boxes you’ve ordered in your life where they are typically filled with trial sized or lower quality items in order to keep it affordable and *just* good enough to keep you paying for it month after month. The Simply Earth Essential Oil Recipe Box is different – and one a subscription box that any essential oil junkie is going to fall in love with!

Each month’s essential oil recipe box contains: 4 Full sized oils, 6 Recipes, and fun extras make it the perfect gift for yourself or a friend. The best part? It’s a $150 value for only $39 per month! As a subscribing member, you’ll also receive exclusive access to members-only discounts and sales on Simply Earth products.

How The Recipe Box Works

The essential oil recipe box is really as amazing as it sounds. Each month is even themed! The Simply Earth aromatherapy team works together to design the perfect recipes, and each month you get all the ingredients, containers, and extras you need to make the natural recipes… delivered right to your doorstep! With the simple instructions and everything you need to get started, you’ll be playing with your essential oils in no time.

Plus: A Big Blue Bonus Box!

That’s not all either. In addition to the essential oil recipe box, you will also get a big blue bonus box filled with even more goodies when you first subscribe! Along with beeswax, almond oil, and coconut oil to be used with my recipes for the next 6 months, my bonus box also came filled with empty roll-on containers and 5ml blend bottles to save all my favorite blend combinations. Your big blue bonus box will have everything you need to help you enjoy your essential oil recipe boxes for the next 6 months.

A Look Inside: November’s Essential Oil Recipe Box

I know I say this every month, but I think November’s essential oil recipe box from Simply Earth is my favorite. (The ladies over there just keep out-doing themselves month after month!) Each month is themed, and the November box is all about unwinding and reducing stress with relaxing and tranquility recipes. As someone who loves bath bombs, bath salts, and lavender, I felt like this box was made especially for me. The November box contained Lime, Eucalyptus, and Cinnamon essential oils as well as a Tranquility Essential Oil Blend. It also contained a tea bag, a pouch of powdered whole milk, and a pouch of lavender buds. (Did I mention that the oils alone would have cost $112 from a brand like doTerra?)

Here’s a little peek at some of my favorite recipes from November’s recipe box. Not only are they perfect for bath time and your self care routine – but they also make perfect gifts! (hello, holidays!) I used some of my extra ingredients to make my mom a giftie for when we go visit her this weekend.

Here’s a look at a few of my favorite recipes from this month’s box:

Recipe 1: Tranquility and Lime Diffuser Blend

I was super excited to see a Tranquility Blend in this month’s box. As I still struggle with stress and my chronic blood pressure issues that have developed (as a result of the severe preeclampsia I had Layne 7 months ago), I’ve been all about using essential oil blends that can naturally help calm and receive stress and anxiety. This one is already my favorite – and I will be ordering another one to have an extra on hand!

Meanwhile, to be honest, I was really confused as to why Lime essential oil was included in this month’s box. Once I made my first recipe, the diffuser blend, I immediately knew why. It’s kind of sweet in aroma (like the smell of candy!), but it is also very calming and refreshing. While I love my spicy fall blends (like the Fall Diffuser Blend from October’s box!), I really love how this blend made my home feel refreshed. It was the perfect addition to my house chore day this week — it made my home smell and just feel clean. (Who doesn’t love that freshly cleaned house smell?)

Recipe 2: Lime and Eucalyptus Roll On

I’ve been diffusing Eucalyptus in my home for a long time, but it was more because I liked how fresh it smelled and made my home feel. Well thanks to Simply Earth, I now know that Eucalyptus has decongestant properties and is a great airborne antibacterial to help clear the air during cold season. (I guess that’s why I loved it so much!) After learning that on the back of one of the recipe cards this month, I couldn’t help but make the Lime and Eucalyptus Roll On recipe. You’re suppose to be able to apply the blend to pulse points for energy, congestion relief, and an uplifting aroma. (All things I need as I try to stay well this cold and flu season!)

Recipe 3: Eucalyptus Shower Steamers

Along with the roll on recipe, I couldn’t resist making the Eucalyptus Shower Steamers. I always get congestion as the seasons and weather start to change. Since that has just now started in Georgia, this recipe couldn’t have come at a better time! If you know me, you know I’m all about bath bombs, milk baths, and bath salts. I have a big basket under my sink in my master bathroom overflowing with all the things. However, I don’t always have time for a bath! I was so excited to just be able to pop one of these  into the floor of my shower. It was heavenly!

P.S. I was a little nervous making this recipe because I didn’t know how the cubes would hold up getting them out of the mold. But like every other recipe I’ve been intimidated by, it really was so easy. I think the trick was letting them dry the full 24 hours like the recipe card said instead of being impatient (which is easy to do when you’re excited about what you made!) I just put them in a mason jar – and they’re in my bathroom ready to use! Meanwhile, I am thinking of making a second batch soon without the lavender buds, so I’ll let you know how that goes!

Recipe 4: Lavender Buds & Tranquility Milk Bath

I have to admit, the Eucalyptus Shower Steamers and the Lavender Buds & Tranquility Milk Bath were my favorites of the favorites in November’s essential oil recipe box. It is like relaxation in a bottle. (or I guess, mason jar) I couldn’t help but just sit there and take in the aroma!

Pro Tip: Katie from Simply Earth (she’s one of the recipe formulators and a certified aromatherapist) says that the milk bath and bath salts recipes from the November box can also be enjoyed in the shower (because we all know unwinding in a bath tub is not always an option!) All you do is just pour a couple tablespoons of the mixtures into the bottom of your shower, and enjoy the relaxation benefits of the aroma!

Y’all, I loved the lavender and tranquility milk bath recipe so much I even made a second one as a little giftie for my mom when we see her this weekend. My grandma has been in hospice, and it’s been so hard watching my mom have so much grief and stress. I’m hoping this will be the perfect little pick-me-up she needs to relax a little bit as we head into the holidays. Recipes like this one would be the perfect, easy self care gift for your girlfriends this holiday season. Put them in a mason jar with a cute tag and bow, and you’re set!

Spring gardening is right around the corner, and I Spring gardening is right around the corner, and I’m already starting to get ours prepped thanks to @walmart Lawn and Garden! #AD With a newborn and a toddler, running errands can be quite the task. But thanks to #WalmartLawnandGarden, I’ve been able to get everything I need to kickstart our garden this year in one place — from the convenience of snuggling my babies on my couch with Walmart.com and the app! The time it saved me from running all over town, I got to spend making core memories with John as we taught him how to start his very first set of seeds in the @jiffygroup seed starting tray.

Here’s a look at what we got to kickstart our garden this year:
- The @jiffygroup Seed Starting Greenhouse Kit: to grow our own seedlings and get a head start on the season by starting them indoors!
- The @ferrymorseseed Seed Starting Heat Mat: to give our seeds the best chance possible to promote germination and improve transplant results
- Ferry Morse Seeds (flowers, tomatoes, and peppers!)
- @pennington Rejuvenate Potting Mix and Garden Soil: to give our seedlings the nutrients they need once transplanted into our garden
- Pennington Rejuvenate Tomato Plant Food
- @scottslawn Landscaping Fabric: to keep our garden clean and free of pesky weeds
- The @flexonhose Flextreme Advanced 100ft Hose: to keep it all watered without fighting kinks as we move easily around our raised garden beds

Add this kit to your cart now ➡️ https://click2cart.com/59600bc

Get a jumpstart on your spring and summer garden this year by shopping everything you need at Walmart, in-store or online at Walmart.com. And stay tuned to see how our garden comes together and grows this year!

January 20th, 2023 💛

James was born last Friday morning, and spent the first 5 days in the NICU for some breathing issues and fluid in his lungs. While those days were extremely rough, trying, and brought back a lot of emotions from Layne’s birth — God is so good, and my heart is just overwhelmed by His faithfulness. My favorite moment in life thus far was surprising John before bedtime the night we were finally discharged to come home. I’ll never forget the look on his face when I walked through that door. Thank you, Jesus, for my babies. 🦋💛 #ahostinghome

Rob has always wanted a study, so my goal with this space when it’s finished is to have almost like a moody, swanky cigar lounge feel. When we moved into this house this spring, I told Rob I was done playing it “safe for resale” with designing projects. Here’s to more of doing whatever the heck I want design wise in 2023! 👏🏼✨ Next up: let’s get this space styled and furnished! #ahostinghome
