French Country Farmer’s Market Wedding Inspiration
I don’t know about you, but one of my favorite things about the late spring and summer in the South are all of the farmer’s markets that pop up each weekend. To be honest, it was one of the things I loved when we first moved to Atlanta. Some of my favorite memories include going to the farmer’s market, picking up fresh foods, and going home to cook and gather around the table.
Meanwhile, if you’ve had the pleasure of getting to meet with me in person (because we all know it’s a pleasure – HA!), it was probably over a cup of coffee or a meal. There’s just something about the level of conversation that happens and the memories made over a meal or cup of coffee that I love so much. It’s that love for gathering around a table and celebrating life’s precious moments that I channel when I help my couples design one of life’s most special days with the intention on gathering and celebrating.
A New West Georgia Gem: The Shed at Westover Farms
The Shed at Westover Farms located in Bremen, Georgia is one of West Georgia’s newest rustic barn style venues. To help this darling venue make their debut into the wedding industry, Linda (of Linda Threadgill Photography) and I decided to design a huge photoshoot to showcase some of the amazing local wedding professionals that this region of West Georgia has to offer.
The Shed at Westover Farms Wedding Styled Shoot
When we were dreaming up a concept for this styled shoot, Linda and I kept gushing about our love for southern weddings and farmer’s markets. We couldn’t help but think of giving a fresh look to southern, rustic barn weddings by channeling our love for farmer’s markets in an elegant french country look.
I have so many favorite things that came from this photoshoot – and when you see this gallery, you’ll immediately know why! When constructing the color palette, I really wanted to play tribute to the bright colors that are associated with summer and farmer’s markets while keeping that wild, organic look of the south’s wild flowers in mind with the floral design. From the darling pie bar, wine bar, and fresh produce details to the sweet table settings and the handcrafted barn door ceremony backdrop we made here at A Hosting Home, no detail was left untouched as the design for this french country farmer’s market wedding came together flawlessly. I had so much fun styling this photoshoot, and it’s definitely one of my favorite projects to date!
If one thing is for sure, it’s that one huge thing I love about the wedding industry is working alongside beautiful souls like these. There are moments in life when you need people who push, pull, and believe in you, even when you doubt yourself. A rising tide truly raises all ships. When entrepreneurs help each other, instead of tearing at weaknesses, industries revolutionize and grow. Together we can make a difference.
These are some of my absolute favorite people, and I couldn’t have been more excited for everyone involved when our shoot got picked up for publication by The Southeastern Bride Magazine. I appreciate each and every one of these extremely talented vendors, and it was such an amazing experience getting to work alongside them all. It’s safe to say, I absolutely loved how everything came together and turned out! Each time I take a look back at these photographs from Linda Threadgill Photography, I can’t help but gush over all of the gorgeous details like it was just yesterday.
